Authentication

The Comité Marc Chagall is the only recognized authority to authenticate the works of Marc Chagall and to issue certificates of authenticity.

The artworks must be presented physically along with their provenance information, so that the members of the Comité Marc Chagall can examine those and come up with an opinion.

The decisions of the Comité Marc Chagall are taken unanimously by the gathered members.
